It all started back in 2020, I’d worn the same style of thong for 20+ years, reliable, comfortable, my everyday go-to. And then, suddenly, it vanished from the market. To find a replacement, I tried them all, brand after brand but nothing came close. The quality was gone, the fit was off and after one wash…? a tangled mess of elastic. That was my eureka moment: if I couldn’t find the perfect thong, maybe I just had to make it myself.
Thongs can be the marmite of the knicker world, I know they are not for everyone but I founded String Nix to do one thing exceptionally well: design the most comfortable thong you’ll ever wear. No compromises, no cut corners just thoughtful, sustainable design, the everyday essential.
After a few years of hard work and steep learning curves, the dream became a reality at the end of 2024 and String Nix was born.
